One of Europe’s most beautiful countries, France has a diverse range of things to do and see, from skiing to sunbathing to sight seeing in one of the many stunning cities. This is a beautiful part of the world and you can find the perfect place to stay here.
It just so happens that for us Brits, France is pretty accessible as it takes just over one hour to fly to Paris, but if you prefer you can travel by car, ferry or train. There is no reason why one cannot get to France if they want to. There is, of course, a language barrier but if you use a few ‘bonjour’ and ‘merci’s’ you should be fine. You could perhaps brush up on the basics via a mini handbook, just on the off chance you need to ask a question.
The Cote d’Azur in the south of France is one of the most beautiful regions in the country ans as it boasts a very hot summer it is a gorgeous place to stay. Whilst here you must visit Monte Carlo in Monaco. It is a little on the expensive side to stay here but a day trip to this millionaires playground is amazing. Where else can you see a five floor yacht containing antique furniture, with people lounging on a top deck corner couch and a Porsche being driven out of the lower deck?
French furniture is generally associated with the architecture and beautiful cafes of Paris. There is a certain attention to detail in their cafes, hotels and shops which are beautifully decorated, all seeming to fit in with the old fashioned French theme. With antique tables, dressers and traditional wine cabinets, which are usually white, the elegance and sophistication of France is something to behold.
