New hotel L’Aiguille Grive Chalet Hotel built at 1800m

No one has attempted to build a hotel that is set at an altitude of 1800 meters yet which is why the L’Aiguille Grive Chalet Hotel is going to be a spanking new concept. The architectural feat has been well thought out with every foot of the structure built and designed with thorough bioclimatic architecture in mind.
In addition to its high feat, it is also eco-friendly and offers some outstanding low energy consumption standards. The location of the ski chalet is also perfect as it sits along the French and Italian border near Val d’Isere, Savoie region, Courmayeur, and Moutiers.
The intimacy of a chalet meets the service of a hotel.

The hotel is made up of 6 individual chalets which connect to the main reception and dining areas via covered passageways. Chalets have 4, 5, or 6 double bedrooms each with its own bathroom and all have either a balcony or terrace with spectacular views over Mont Blanc. The chic and cosy chalets were designed by Pierre Marie Couturier who has kept comfort and family lifestyle in mind, with deep sofas, fireplaces and generous-sized, convivial dining tables.
The chalets are very well equipped with flat screen televisions, fully stocked kitchen as well as a dedicated boot room with boot warmer. Guests can decide whether to eat in the hotel restaurant or in the comfort of their own chalet.

Built in the avant-garde style of Charlotte Perriand, one of the founding designers of Les Arcs 1800, this hotel-chalet concept was designed by the architects COS, who have recently been in charge of the renovation of The Ritz in Paris.
The combination of wood, glass and natural light brings nature as close to home as possible.

The service is immaculate and in the main part of the hotel you find the bar, lounge and sun terraces with breath-taking views. The restaurant is the only one in Les Arcs 1800 that is accessible to both pedestrians and skiers.

There are varied slopes both on and off piste and lots of genuinely challenging skiing, including some excellent woodland runs. There is also a very good club for children with its own tobogganing and wall climbing area.

During the summer months the hotel benefits from its excellent location by being directly on the Arcs 1800 golf course.
