This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with majestic mountains and volcanic landscapes. Culture buffs can visit some of the mystical menhirs (standing stones) or dolmens (burial chambers) which are scattered throughout the area. Alternatively, sample some local wine with a big chunk of Bleu d’Auvergne or Cantal!
