In the pretty town of Fouesnant, look out for the myriad artisans still producing the tiny lace strips renowned as the finest in Brittany, or clamber back in time with a visit to Romanesque Saint-Pierre. Don’t leave without sampling the famous local cider – so good it even has its own festival in July.
